The gravel toned lead vocals and warm overdriven electric guitars, interwoven into a tapestry of bass and driven acoustics... Set the scene for a Dark Sacred Night
Witches of Pendle tells the story of the women from the Lancashire area of Pendle who in 1612 were accused, tried and executed for being witches.
Along with Dave and Jude, the song features a guest appearance from John Kettle of Merry Hell. This is the first of a number songs which have been inspired by the atrocities and injustice these women endured.
